My name is Khanh Vo, and I’m honored to serve as your current bargaining unit President. I’ve been with the City’s ITS department for over 20 years. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling with family and friends, exploring photography, and previously spent over a decade as a Scout Master while raising our boys.

As your President, my goal is to help move our unit forward, strengthen our collective voice, and hopefully make a few new friends along the way.

My name is Magdalena Salazar. I am a Senior Office Specialist with the Animal Services division within the Police Department. I’ve been with the City of Fremont for 2 years. I’m born and raised in the Bay Area and currently live in Fremont. Outside of work, I’m a Cake Artist and Photographer who also enjoys crafting and sewing! I’m also a proud cat parent of two cats, Chicken and Waffles.

Hi my name is Rosalaura but everyone knows me as Rosa. I have been with Fremont Police Department for almost 7 years. I am a Records Specialist and currently assigned to the investigations unit. I am a Fremont native, I moved when I got married in 2019 and currently live in Hayward. I love spending time with my husband and my little one, soon to be little “ones”. I am very quiet at first but once you get to know me I am the biggest chatter box.

Hello, my name is Matt Wilson and I’ve been with the Fremont Fire Department for 4 years as a Fire Prevention Inspector. I’m also a Fremont native, born and raised. In my free time I enjoy traveling, planning trips, and more traveling, did I mention I enjoy traveling? I’m excited to participate in a more active role in CFEA and look forward to the year ahead.

Hi, my name is Jamie Cooley. I am an Environmental Specialist with the Environmental Services division and have been with the City for almost 4 years. I was born, raised, and still live in Fremont and enjoy serving our community. I’m honored to be apart of the CFEA Board especially after members went above and beyond to support me after an injury. I’m born and raised in the East Bay and currently live in Livermore. On my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and 2 year old son; we like exploring different fun places around the Bay.

My name is Loretta Williams.  I’m a Senior Office Specialist in the Human Services Department and I’m located at the Fremont Family Resource Center (FRC).  I’ve been with the City for 23 years. I have a contagious laugh and I love to smile.  I’m a big fan and collector of Tweety Bird.

My name is Valerie, and I am an Office Specialist II in the Community Services Department. I’ve been working for the City of Fremont since 2019, becoming a full-time employee in 2023. Having grown up in Fremont, this community holds special significance for me. It’s where I’ve chosen to build my life, start a family, and raise my daughter. I currently serve on the CFEA training committee, and I’m excited for the opportunity to take on a larger role by joining our union board. CFEA has welcomed me warmly, and I am eager to give back by providing the same support and camaraderie that has been extended to me.
